Exploring Nubia 50 years after the Exodus
Magdi – it is so amazing to read your travelogue and learn so much about the Nubians and the history. Your perspectives and writing style are fascinating and you really should compile these essays into a book.
But what I find most amazing is the the fact that you have taken your son along. While rediscovering your history and roots you have passed on the essence of your civilization to the next generation – which probably some of the residents of the region don’t. Tariq will be a better person as a result of these travels.
